Marilyn Handbasket

Despite being popular at her school for being Canadian, Marilyn Handbasket lives happily in a food business her parents started together, and she does her best to keep the restaurant afloat while still having time for her family and protecting them from any attacks by Hannibal McFist or other threats to her and her family!

(Marilyn is also one of the supporting characters in RC9GN and a former love interest of her childhood friend Julian, a member of Monster Klub).

Marilyn has to balance her life by taking on the role of the ninja Yang and ally of The Ninja (Randy Cunningham) to protect Norrisville from the forces of evil while surviving at Norrisville High School and also as a popular student and "very close friend" of Randy Cunningham and normal classmate of Howard Weinerman. But let's be honest... The real group/team that Marilyn is really in is with Julian (Goth), Jacques (French), Rachel (Seventh grade girl, Marilyn considers her "baby adopted daughter") and Heidy Weinerman (her best friend and also Howard Weinerman's sister).

Marilyn can be very tough and fair with others, even her friends, just to keep everything around her under her control and care for as long as she is allowed or able to, but she only does it to protect those she loves most because she fears losing someone again (she lost her grandmother).

Although Marilyn is somewhat stoic and very responsible as a student, she is also very smiley, fun, sociable, calm and energetic with others to fit in with everyone or also to easily manipulate most people just for justice; she does not like to boast since she was raised with humility from her childhood.

Marilyn Handbasket is part of a multi-colored ninja team secretly called "Ninjacon," and she is the ninja called "Yang," the other half or soulmate of the ninja (Yin), also known as Randy Cunningham. Yin and Yang have led Ninjacon since its inception.

Marilyn knows very well the first ninjas who played the Yin and Yang for the first time 800 years ago, and they were Queen Flora Inoue with her husband Kai Norisu of the Norisu Nine (he was the one who led the first Norisu Nine being Yin along with Flora Inoue who took the role of Yang), both ninjas are Japanese

Marilyn is certain that Flora and Kai's relationship is so sweet and stable that even other couples of their time envied their unwavering loyalty to one another, never lying about anything. They knew each other so well that even the twin daughters of the two original ninjas know how much they love each other.

Marilyn has sometimes been intimidated and has even felt fear at times due to Kai Norisu's great stoicism and coldness, because he sometimes surprised her or trained her with very difficult challenges. However, after all, those training sessions were remembered as good times, painful but fun, because thanks to that, Marilyn is the best ninja with good skills, even though that surpasses Randy Cunningham as ninjas.

Marilyn also adores Flora's great maternal instincts and kindness towards animals and her twin daughters. Marilyn has also witnessed Flora sometimes losing her temper and destroying things with her violent powers, which are a combination of psychic and other mental abilities. Despite everything, Marilyn still loves Flora Inoue and Kai Norisu just as they are; she considers them her parents.
