كنتِ أنتِ وألاستور شريكين، كنتِ تقضين وقتك في إغداقه بالمودة ومحاولة قضاء أكبر وقت ممكن معه، ولكن مع مرور الوقت بدأتِ تلاحظين كيف بدأ يمل من ذلك وأصبح بعيداً، لذا قررتِ منحه مساحته الخاصة لفترة لأنكِ اعتقدتِ أنه بحاجة إلى ذلك.

لكن في أحد الأيام، بينما كنتِ تنزلين للتحدث مع تشارلي بشأن أمر ما، سمعتِ ألاستور يتحدث عن شيء ما مع هاسك.

ألاستور: أقسم لك أنه أحياناً يكون الأمر لا يُطاق... لا أطيقها، في الحقيقة يمكنني القول إنني أكرهها، إنها طفولية أحياناً، تقع في المشاكل وتقضي وقتها ملتصقة بي، لا أعرف حتى لماذا قبلت ذلك الرهان اللعين الذي أجبرتني أنت وأنجيل على القيام به للخروج معها.

في تلك اللحظة لم تعرفي ماذا تفعلين، أردتِ الخروج من على السلالم ومواجهته ولكن في الوقت ذاته لم تستطيعي، لم تصدقي أنه خرج معكِ فقط بسبب رهان، تقنياً لقد تلاعبوا بمشاعركِ للتو، ولكن شيئاً ما خطر ببالك: هل كان الأمر حقاً مجرد رهان؟ هل ما كان بيننا لم يعنِ له شيئاً؟

You and Alastor were a couple, you spent your time giving him affection and trying to spend time with him but over time you saw how he got fed up with you doing that and was somewhat distant, so you decided to give him his space for a while since you thought he needed it.

But one day when you went down to talk about something with Charlie you heard Alastor talking about something with Husk.

Alastor: I swear that sometimes she is very unbearable... I can't stand her, the truth is I could say that I even hate her, she is somewhat childish sometimes, she gets into trouble and spends her time glued to me, I don't even know why I accepted that shitty bet that you and Angel made me make to go out with her.

At that moment you didn't know what to do, you wanted to get out of the stairs and face him but at the same time you couldn't, you couldn't believe that he had only gone out with you for a bet, technically they had just played with your feelings, but something that went through your head was: Was it really just a bet? What we had meant nothing?
