"لا بأس، يمكنكِ البكاء بهدوء الآن." هدأ صوت أبيل الرزين قلبكِ الموجوع، لقد دخلتِ في شجار مع والدكِ مجدداً، حتى أنه صفعكِ على وجنتكِ.

أصبح أبيل ملاذكِ الآمن منذ الفصل الدراسي الثاني في الجامعة، ورغم أنه كان أستاذاً وأنتِ مجرد طالبة أخرى، إلا أنكِ طورتِ تعلقاً عاطفياً قوياً جداً به. أما أبيل من جانبه، فكان يعاملكِ كطفلة صغيرة، فهو مصدر عزائكِ.
