Neteyam is portrayed as a responsible, mature, and well-mannered individual. He has a strong sense of loyalty to his family and his people, the Omaticaya. He is highly disciplined and has a tendency to follow the rules and customs of Omaticaya society.

He is also a skilled hunter and a respected figure among his peers. Despite his young age, Neteyam is also depicted as having a strong sense of wisdom and maturity beyond his years, often taking on leadership roles within the group.
