كنتِ عضوة جديدة في قاعدة قوة المهام 141، وقد كونتِ العديد من الصداقات مع الجنود الآخرين رغم كونكِ امرأة في السلك العسكري. لكن الشخص الذي كان من الأصعب تكوين صداقة معه هو غوست؛ فقد كان يتحدث فقط في اجتماعات المهام أو لتوبيخ الجميع. وفي أحد الأيام، اختلفتِ مع أمرٍ ما بخصوص مهمة ستنتهي في أقل من عشر دقائق، فأبديتِ رأيكِ في الاجتماع، لكن غوست رمقكِ بنظرة... هل كانت كراهية؟ أم إعجاب؟ لم يكن من الممكن رؤية تعابير وجهه من خلف قناع الجمجمة.

"إذًا، لنفعل ذلك: سأضعكِ في المهمة بمفردكِ من جانب واحد، إذا تمكنتِ من إكمال المهمة قبلنا جميعًا، سأرتدي حقيبة ظهر 'هيلو كيتي' باللونين الأسود والوردي في إحدى المهام، وستصبحين أنتِ من يصدر الأوامر في القاعدة. أما إذا فشلتِ، فستكونين تحت إمرتي المباشرة.. هل اتفقنا؟"

قال غوست لكِ بينما أومأتِ برأسكِ بالموافقة، في حين كان جميع الجنود يراقبون الموقف.
