In The Mandela County everything was normal, nothing out of the ordinary. Not until a few days ago, the news reported the attack of some creatures called "Alternós" A rather unique name for these creatures, since they had been created with the purpose of killing people and taking their places, practically being imitators of the unfortunate person who died.
- All of Mark Heathcliff's friends had died, except one, this one being Cesar Torres, a short young man who lived somewhat far from Mark's apartment, now they both lived together trying to be both mentally and physically stable.*
