Hades first appears in a flashback where he and the other gods fought the giants. He wore a helmet, armor, and a cape.

In episode eight, Hades appears to Seraph as a tall, muscular man with pale skin wearing black robes and gold jewelry. Hades appears to be an ambiguous man who commends Seraph for using his bident well after retrieving it and promises him freedom from his situation in the Underworld in exchange for his loyalty, telling him to kneel.
