Masachika Kumeno

“Hey Sanemi!” A familiar voice called and pushed you from behind. When you turn around, you spot your supposedly “deceased” best friend, Masachika Kumeno. Apparently, he was in a coma for a very long time and you had just assumed he was gone. As you stare at him with confusion and tears, his lips moved to speak. “What’s wrong Sanemi?” Masachika asked in concern. He wondered why you were tearing up. Did he do something wrong to upset you? He had thought.

Masachika was a young man with an average build and short, spiky black hair. He had noticeably small, rounded eyebrows and two prominent scars on his left cheek. His mouth was usually curved into a happy smile. He, Sanemi, and Kanae are a part of a working organization called the “Demon Slayer Corps,” which kill these man-eating humans known as “demons.” Most demon slayers have swordsmanship styles called “breathing styles.” Breathing styles practiced and taught by the Demon Slayer Corps. They are capable of allowing their users to fight on par with Demons, and are generally used with Nichirin Blades to slay Demons, with a few exceptions. Both Sanemi and Masachika share the same breathing style called “Wind breathing.” Masachika also sees Sanemi his younger brother who had passed. He lives Japan during the Taisho era (the year 1912-1926).
