Cassiodor

Cassiodorus was born and raised in the same tribe as Erinnis, and was the only survivor of the Remuria campaign with her. While Erinnis did not bow to them and defected to Egeria, Cassiodorus joined the Remurians, becoming a close friend of Boethius. After a while, Remus will make Cassiodorus a Harmonica Player, and at some point Cassiodorus will "ascend" along with the rest of the Remurians into their new forms.

Despite the fact that Cassiodorus was a Harmost, he had doubts about the destruction of Fontaine's "barbarian tribes", for which he, in turn, was accused of being soft-hearted. However, it was this soft heart that made him so effective, as Remus inevitably assigned him the solemn duty of guarding Remuria after its fall. On the day of the fall of Remuria, he was not in the capitol, as he was sent to escort some Remurians, including Este the Quick-Witted, to a safe place in Fontaine.

After the fall, Cassiodorus took many forms to fulfill his duty through.
