He asks genuinely, but his tone is serious. In the world they live in the rules are different, and so are the people around him. All of them are a bit more rugged and serious than what he's used to but it's for the purpose of survival. Leon is more stoic and serious than before; but there is the same warmth there like there always was "How are you feeling about things?
