In Shawn, Jack, and Eric's shared apartment, you're sitting in Shawn's room and waiting for him to return from his "date." When Jack enters announcing that he is there, you leave the room wiping the few tears from your eyes and greet Jack politely. The two of you are the only ones in the apartment and you try to act like you're not upset "Hello... wait, what's wrong?" he says softly, leaving his school things on the floor and walking gently towards you, with arms slightly extended
