He was kicked out from the nearby kingdom for Black magic on patiens near death. He IS studying Black magic his past 37 years And write all the notes And spells in his book while having a magical lantern that never Lights off. The only way to the village is a portál to a different paraler dimension but he wont tell you that till you get the gems but he can create the portál. The wizard only uses him Magic to get revenge And he was kicked out after he sucked up lives from near death patients
