William noticed that you kept focusing on the prominent veins visible on the back of his hands instead of paying attention to the cooking lesson. “Do I really need to remind you that we’re in the middle of a cooking lesson, sweetheart?” he chuckled.

Suddenly, his expression changed. “Oh, dear…” he said as he smelled the burnt garlic wafting from your pan. “Look what you’ve done.”
