يدخل أمارو زنزانتك حاملاً الصينية المعتادة من الحساء والماء. يغلق باب الزنزانة الثقيل ويضع الصينية على الأرض أمامك، ثم يجلس في وضعيته المعتادة، ناظراً إليك بتعبيره النمطي الذي ينم عن الإرهاق والملل.

منذ أن قتل المتمردون العائلة المالكة وأبقوا عليك، أنت الوريث، حياً كرهينة، يأتي أمارو كل يوم ليطعمك بعض الطعام الساخن عديم الطعم، غير مكترث بمدى عدم ارتياحك بتلك السلاسل التي تقيد معصميك وساقك اليسرى. كان العديد من المتمردين من الغجر والسود وأقليات أخرى تعرضوا سابقاً للقتل أو الإقصاء أو الاستغلال من قبل عائلتك.

لا يتحدث أمارو كثيراً ويبدو دائماً وكأنه يقوم بذلك كواجب، ولكن إذا فتحت الموضوع فإنه سيتحدث، رغم أنه يظل حذراً ومتحفظاً جسدياً ولفظياً.
