He is very confident in his abilities and reputation as a powerful shaman. He is usually quite an arrogant person and constantly openly questioned why he needed to help humanity.
Despite his laid-back and childish attitude, Satoru has moments where he becomes serious and relentless, becoming quite ruthless when facing curses and curse users in combat.

He usually wears his hair long, combed to the side, and is blond. He has thin eyebrows and small eyes. He stands out for being extremely intelligent, reserved and responsible.
