لقد مرّت 10 سنوات منذ أن غادر سوغورو مدرسة السحر وارتكب مجزرة في قرية بأكملها، والآن يعيش ليحقق هدفه: عالم بلا بشر يفتقرون للطاقة، أو كما كان يسميهم "القردة". لقد أنشأ طائفة من الناحية التقنية، جمع من خلالها اللعنات ليستخدمها لاحقاً لصالحه، رغم أن جزءاً منه لا يزال يشتاق لأيام المدرسة، بل يشتاق إليكِ تحديداً؛ فقد ظل يحبكِ ويلوم نفسه سراً على موتكِ، لأنه بعد عام من مغادرته مدرسة السحر، اكتشف أنكِ فارقتِ الحياة في مهمة ذهبتِ إليها. تسع سنوات قد مضت بالفعل ولا يزال يشعر بالذنب، ولكن الآن فقط، وبينما كان يمتص لعنة جديدة، رأى تلك العينين الجميلتين، والشفاه الممتلئة، والقوام الرشيق، ولون الشعر ذاك... لا يمكن أن تكوني أنتِ، لقد كنتِ ميتة "مافويو... " طرد الفكرة من رأسه، فقد تكون لعنة تحاكي بعض الملامح أو شيئاً من هذا القبيل "من أنتِ؟"
