Jujutsu Kaisen accident in Shibuya

Yuji Itadori (虎杖悠仁, Itadori Yūji?) is the protagonist of the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a first-year student at the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College and a vessel of the King of Curses, Sukuna.

He used to be a student at Sugisawa Municipal High School, where he was shown to possess incredible physical strength but had no interest in sports. He used to spend much of his time in the Occult Club. Any information regarding his parents is unknown and the only relative who ever cared for him was his grandfather. When he meets Megumi Fushiguro, he ends up dragged into the world of shamans and curses. At one point in the story, after ingesting one of Sukuna's fingers, it incarnates into him and Itadori becomes its vessel. From then on, Itadori is on a mission to find Sukuna's remains that are scattered throughout Japan and ingest them, then be executed and destroy the King of Curses forever.

Itadori is a tall, muscular teenager, standing at 173 centimeters (5'8"). In the manga illustrations, his hair is spiky and light brown[2], while in the anime it is depicted in shades similar to pale pink[3]. He has thin eyebrows and large, light brown eyes. After becoming a vessel for Sukuna, a small line appears under each of his eyes.

At the beginning of the series, Itadori wore a light-colored hooded jacket, black pants with the bottom rolled up, and white shoes. After he enrolled at the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College, he began wearing his version of the uniform: in the manga, he wears a black long-sleeved shirt resembling a gakuran over a red hoodie, black pants,[4] and red shoes,[5] while in the anime, the shirt and pants are depicted as navy blue.[6] His casual attire tends to consist of hoodies, black pants, and black shoes. He is not the type to wear hoodies, but wears them because he is indecisive about what clothes to wear.[7]

In the false memories that occurred in Chapter 35, he was attending high school with Aoi Todo and Takada-chan. He was seen wearing a gakuran with the top open, revealing a red hoodie with black pants.[8] In another false memory that occurred in Chapter 106, he was gathered with Choso, Esou, and Kechizu, where he was seen wearing a light-colored hoodie and dark pants.

During his search for Kinji Hakari, he was seen wearing a light-colored jacket with dark-colored cuffs and collar.[9]

Itadori is an honest, friendly person and finds it fairly easy to socialize with others upon first meeting. He cares greatly, not only for his comrades, but for anyone he sees who has a will of their own, regardless of how deep or shallow his connection to them is. He cares greatly about the "value of a life" and to this end will ensure that others receive a "just death". He is easily angered by the sheer cruelty and unfair judgement of other people. Kento Nanami claims that Itadori is able to feel the hatred and pain of others as if it were his own pain.[10]

One of Itadori's defining traits is his willingness to sacrifice himself for others, sparked by his grandfather's dying words, where he asks him to always help others. For example, when he and Megumi Fushiguro were about to be killed by a curse, Itadori swallowed one of Sukuna's fingers to exorcise it and save them, despite that being the first meeting with Megumi.[2] He maintains that he does not wish to kill curses, because once he does, he will always have to resort to murder, so he prefers to defeat them and then exorcise them so that they receive a righteous death.[11]

During a confrontation with Aoi Todo, he revealed that his type of girl is "a tall girl with a big butt, like Jennifer Lawrence."[12] However, it is later shown that he is a very careless person when it comes to matters of love and does not really care about a woman's appearance. He revealed that during his days as a high school student, he used to be attracted to people's personalities, natures, and behavior.[13] He tends to have fun and show joy often. He is quick to adapt to his teacher Satoru Gojo's jokes and humor, and tends to get carried away by his teacher's ideas.[14] He is well known for being a very prankster and a master of imitations, albeit half-heartedly.[7]

Mahito (真人, Mahito?) is one of the main antagonists of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga series. He is a special-grade curse, born from the hatred of humans towards other humans. His ultimate goal is the eradication of humanity, and ultimately, replacing the population with cursed spirits. He was part of Suguru Geto's team and was a partner of Hanami, Jogo and Dagon.

Mahito, unlike other curses, has a human appearance[1]. He has a tall and thin body, however, he is able to change the entire structure of his body and transform into whatever he wants[2]. He received the nickname "Patch Face", due to the number of scars he has on his face and throughout his body[1]. His skin tone is light and somewhat pale[3]. His hair is bluish-gray[4], although it was also depicted with purple colors[5]; it is long and is divided into three strands held with a band before reaching the end of his hair. His eyes are of different colors, the right one is light and the left one is dark[1]; in the anime, the right one is depicted as gray and the left one as blue[6].

Her signature outfit consists of a black shawl with a messy line pattern that is split into three pieces on the left sleeve, along with matching pants[1]; in the anime, this outfit is depicted in all blues and blacks, and the shawl has a pattern of lines that join together to form squares[7]. She wears white shoes with black designs. When she uses "Instant Death Spirit Body" she is able to reveal her true form as a curse. Her body structure changes completely: she loses her human face, her body becomes muscular, dagger-like leaves come out of her arms, a long tail grows, and a series of fringes or twisted waves come out of her head. Even in this form, she manages to maintain certain characteristics of her 'patched' body[8].

He is a sadistic and immature cursed spirit who enjoys toying with human emotions[4] and has no sympathy for the lives of humans. He claims to have been born from human transgressions and considers himself the very manifestation of humans' hatred for each other[2]. He pursues the strong ideal that humans should be extinguished and curses should rule in their place. He is fully dedicated to his cause, so much so that he does not care if he is still alive when his goal is fulfilled[9]. Despite such a claim, in battles where he has felt that his life is in danger, he usually runs away[4][10][11][12] and maintains that as long as he is able to preserve the form of his soul, he will never die. According to Suguru Geto, unlike Jogo, Mahito can remain relatively calm and is the type to usually prepare his plans before acting[13]. Despite his frivolous personality, on several occasions, he has shown to be someone of a playful and cheerful nature; In fact, in his free time he used to play with Hanami and Dagon[14]. Kento Nanami describes him as someone extremely immature, and with a personality similar to that of a child[15].

If he feels that a human can serve his plans, he will not hesitate to manipulate them until he slowly kills their soul. [16] For example, when he befriended Junpei Yoshino, he saw him simply as a toy that would be fun to play with. [9] However, when he realized that the latter would help him in his plans to corrupt Yuji Itadori's soul, he did not hesitate to use him. [4] He forced the young man to become a curse user by fueling his hatred towards his own race. In the end, when Junpei was no longer useful, he used him against Itadori and even killed him without a second thought. [13]

Nobara Kugisaki (釘崎野薔薇, Kugisaki Nobara?) is one of the protagonists of the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. She is a first-year student at the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College, and a classmate of Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro.

She used to live in the countryside, in a town located four hours away from Morioka Station. She comes to Tokyo in order to become a Jujutsu Shaman and find her childhood friend, Saori[3].

Nobara is a young girl of average height and slim, reaching 160 centimeters [2]. In the manga, both her eyes and hair are orange [4], and it is revealed that her hair was dyed when she lived in her village [2]; while in the anime, both her eyes and hair are a light brown [5].

Her signature attire consists of her own version of the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College uniform, which consists of a low-collared black jacket with a long black skirt and black stockings; in the anime, her attire is depicted as navy blue.[3] She also wears a light-colored belt to hold her hammer, nails, and straw doll; in the anime, her belt is depicted as brown.[3] While training, she wears a light-colored hoodie with a dark flower pattern around her shoulders, black pants, and white shoes.[6] Her casual attire typically varies between dresses[7] and sweatshirts, black pants[8] and white shoes.[9]

Nobara is a passionate young woman, extremely expressive and honest about her feelings. From the beginning, she shows interest in everything related to the world of modeling and shopping, and also shows that she can easily get angry if she is rejected[10]. She shows her true and aggressive side in certain situations, whether they cause embarrassment[11] or she feels rejection towards the other person[12]. During her confrontation with Momo Nishimiya, she expresses pride in her way of being and that she prefers to follow her path as long as she is sure of herself.

She is willing to let go of curses when they are holding hostages[11]; she knows what is important to her, and is not just trying to live a life of luxury, she is willing to give up everything if it will help save others. Nobara also possesses a childlike and cute side, though she rarely shows it and when she is next to Yuji Itadori. She is also capable of teamwork, demonstrating this when she teams up with Itadori and later with other shamans. She is also humble enough to be able to admit that she is not on the level of other shamans such as Kento Nanami.

Megumi Fushiguro (伏ふし黒ぐろ恵めぐみ, Fushiguro Megumi?) is the deuteragonist of the Jujutsu Kaisen series. He is a Grade 2 jujutsu sorcerer and a first-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High alongside Yuji Itadori and Nobara Kugisaki. Megumi is the stepbrother of Tsumiki Fushiguro, and as the son of Toji Fushiguro, Megumi is also a descendant of the Zenin Clan. Megumi was born outside the clan as Toji's trump card and was eventually found by Satoru Gojo, who mentored him and enrolled him into Jujutsu High as his student.

Megumi is a relatively tall and thin young man with fair skin and green eyes (dark blue in the anime adaptation). He has a unique style of black hair with long spikes sticking out in all directions around his head, resembling a sea urchin (according to Hakari).

Megumi normally wears a standard Jujutsu High uniform with a dark blue jacket over a long-sleeved white dress shirt. Her uniform's pants match her jacket and only reach just above her shins. She wears long black socks that cover her exposed ankles and completes her outfit with low-top brown shoes. She also wears a blue tracksuit for training. In middle school, Megumi wore the Saitama Urami East Junior High uniform, which consisted of a tan jacket over a white dress shirt with black pants and white sneakers. While sneaking inside the Gachinko Fight Club, Megumi wore a black hoodie and matching pants with her regular shoes as a disguise.

Megumi is a seemingly stoic, aloof, and calculating person. She usually has a neutral facial expression that rarely changes and seems to take every situation seriously. This contrasts with the outgoing and goofy personalities of Yuji, Nobara, and Satoru, which often annoys Megumi. She is easily irritated, and Yuji has noticed that Megumi seems to always be a little angry. [5]

Satoru Gojo (五条悟, Gojō Satoru?) is one of the characters in the manga series Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School and one of the protagonists of the sequel series, Jujutsu Kaisen. Known by the nickname The Strongest Shaman (最強の呪術師, Saikyō no Jujutsu-shi?), he is one of the four Special Class shamans, former companion of Suguru Geto and Shoko Ieiri, and current professor at the Magic Technical College. Tokyo Metropolitan, in charge of first-year students.

As the sole member and head of the Gojo Clan, he is a descendant of the shaman and vengeful spirit, Sugawara-no-Michizan [3], and heir to the Unlimited Curse Technique and the power of the six eyes. From the day of his birth, there was a balance of power between humanity and curses; The fall of his clan and therefore his death would mean losing this balance, provoking a large-scale war that would be difficult for humanity to win [4].

Satoru is a thin and fairly tall man, reaching 190 centimeters [2]. His hair is white and he usually wears it combed upwards with spiky locks when he is working as a teacher or shaman; in his free time, he usually has all his hair disheveled and much of it tends to fall on his face, covering much of his forehead and eyes. His eyes are a peculiar light blue color and in his irises, an image similar to the sky tends to manifest [5] [6]. He is considered attractive by many women.

He often wears a dark-colored cloth to cover his eyes; in the prequel series Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School, Gojo's eyes are covered with white bandages.[7] During his younger days, he often wore sunglasses instead of bandages or cloth.[8] His signature attire consists of a black high-collared coat, long black pants, and black shoes; in the anime, this same attire is depicted in navy blue.[9] Opting to dress more casually, Gojo wears dark, round glasses instead of a blindfold and wears rather casual clothing, usually dark, long-sleeved shirts and baggy pants.

As a child, he used to wear traditional Japanese clothing consisting of a kimono and his haori had a pattern with shapes similar to dragonflies.[10] At other times, he wore casual clothes such as light-colored sweatshirts and dark pants.[11]

Satoru is a complex individual, as generally, as a teacher he may be an authority figure assigned to teach novices about the dangerous world of jujutsu, but he can be casual, friendly and playful with people like his students and colleagues, but is indifferent. and cruel to people like the Shaman executives; He even has a dream of creating the best shamans to fight against them. He is very confident in his abilities and reputation as a powerful shaman. By casually dismissing Sukuna's personal threats, he could defeat the King of Curses easily[12].

Nobara's cursed technique is known as the Voodoo Doll Technique (芻霊呪法, Sūrei Juhō?). An innate technique that requires a voodoo doll, hammers, and nails in order to exert force or control the opponent from a distance.[14] Resonance (共鳴り, Tomonari?): Using a voodoo doll and a cursed limb, Nobara pierces a nail in order to form a link between the two. Whatever the doll experiences, the curse will also experience. The power effect usually varies depending on the difference in skill between Nobara and her opponent.[14] Hairpin (簪, Kanzashi?): Allows that through an order from Nobara, any nail used as a projectile can detonate in an explosion of cursed energy near its target. It is unknown whether Nobara has professional training in the use of cursed weapons or tools. The instruments she usually uses in combat consist of a hammer, nails, a straw dummy, and a rubber mallet, which she uses with great agility. Voodoo Doll (, Voodoo Doll?)[14]: Nobara places some object belonging to her enemy or even a limb of her body on the doll and, by piercing a nail, anything the doll experiences will be experienced at the same time in her opponent's body. Megumi's cursed technique is known as the Ten-Type Shadow Technique (十種影法術, Tokusa no Kage Bōjutsu?). A technique inherited among the members of the Zenin Clan, where shadows are used to create advanced shikigamis, and also uses the shadow to contain objects. It has the great disadvantage that in order to use an invocation it must have been previously exorcised, in addition, if a shikigami is destroyed, it cannot be used again unless it is fused with another. The shikigamis that can be summoned are:
Jade Wolves (玉犬, Gyokuken?): Allows the summoning of two twin wolves, one is white while the other is black, and both have three dots on their foreheads of opposite colors. Toad (蝦蟇, Gama?): Allows the summoning of a large toad, capable of using the extensive length of its tongue to catch opponents and hold them down, even if they are several meters away. Also, it is capable of sheltering allies in its belly. [15] Bottomless Unknown Abyss (不知井底, Seiteishirazu?): This shikigami is born from the combination of two other Shikigami: Toad and Chimera. From the shadow, Megumi is able to summon multiple shikigami and even create a double of himself. He is also able to hide within an enemy's shadow and attack from their blind spot. Gojo's cursed technique is known as the Limitless Curse Technique (無下限, Mukagen?). It is a technique inherited among the members of the Gojo Clan. It has a series of forms and based on these forms, it levels up, allowing for the precise manipulation of space at an atomic level, giving multiple results and subsequent techniques within the overall ability. With space manipulation as the basic level of the technique, it has three standard forms and one "non-standard" form that goes beyond Limitless. The derivative techniques he can use are:Infinite (無限, Mugen?): It is the neutral form of Limitless. It usually creates an illusion that its target is stopping rather than moving forward, however, it serves the main function of slowing things or people down. [1] When something tries to hit Gojo, it never hits and instead hits the infinity that separates them both. Forward Rotation: Blue (術式順転「蒼」, Jutsushiki Junten: Ao?): is the reinforced version of Unlimited Neutral, in which unlimited and negative numbers are amplified, giving rise to the creation of impossible situations. Maximum Forward Rotation: Blue Blaze (術式順転出力最大「蒼」, Jutsushiki Junten Shutsuryoku Saidai: Ao?): By using cursed energy combined with the power of attraction of space, Gojo makes a single point attract everything around it. He is also able to move the point around him to attract everything around him to that point. [7] Imaginary: Purple (虚式「茈」, Kyoshiki: Murasaki?): Allows the molding of cursed energy combined with positive energy to generate a clash between both energies, distorting space. Screen (帳, Tobari?): Allows Gojo to construct a barrier that separates a certain surrounding area from another area. Screens exist for various purposes. It is unknown what type of screen Gojo is capable of creating.[11]
Dark Flash (黒閃, Kokusen?): A technique that every shaman is capable of using, but as of yet, no shaman is able to use it at will. When a shaman makes a strike with cursed power within .000001 seconds of the physical strike, space distorts and the cursed power flashes black.[12] Six Eyes (六眼, Rokugan?): Not much is known regarding the Six Eyes' ability. It is known that they play a role in the precise use of the Limitless Curse Technique and is capable of seeing beyond what normal people can normally see.

Ryomen Sukuna (両面宿儺, Ryōmen Sukuna?) (lit. Double-Face Sukuna), more commonly known as Sukuna (宿儺, Sukuna?) is the main antagonist of the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. Nicknamed King of Curses (呪いの王, Noroi no Ō?), he was the strongest shaman a thousand years ago and currently an incarnation of special grade cursed items.

According to legend, Sukuna was a demon with human appearance that existed during the golden age of Jujutsu about 1000 years ago. By perfecting his skills, sorcerers were able to defeat him. After his death, they were unable to destroy his body and he was passed down through generations in the form of cursed objects, represented by a total of 20 fingers [1]. However, years later, during the modern period, Yuji Itadori ends up in possession of a finger and ingests it in an attempt to help the people around him, as a result, Sukuna manages to incarnate into his body [2 ].

His past appearance describes him as a demon with four arms and two faces. Currently, he looks like his vessel (Yuji Itadori), but with upturned hair in shades similar to pale pink[3] and with lines/marks on his forehead, nose, cheeks and body. He also has a second pair of eyes, below the normal ones. Sukuna also has two lines that begin at his collarbone and descend to his hips, some surrounding his neck and circles on both shoulders[4]. When he takes possession of Itadori's body, he is usually seen wearing the uniform of the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College. In the manga, he wears a black long-sleeved shirt resembling a gakuran over a red hoodie, black pants[5] and red shoes[6], while in the anime, the shirt and pants are depicted in navy blue color[7]. At other times, he can be seen shirtless, or commonly wearing a light kimono with black trim, a black scarf, and black shoes.[8]

Sukuna possesses a free spirit that is only guided by pleasure[9], and given his sadistic personality, he likes and enjoys immensely the suffering of others. He is greedy and always wants to maintain control of the situation without worrying about the consequences. He claims to have no interest in his vessel, Yuji Itadori, but he flatly refuses to let anyone try to kill him, since doing so would mean getting in the way of his plans[9].

He immediately considers anyone who does not meet his expectations in terms of strength or physical ability to be boring.[10] He constantly criticizes his vessel for how weak and incompetent they are with their skills, even becoming upset when they lose to an opponent he considers weaker than Itadori.[11] On the other hand, if he encounters someone strong enough to entertain him enough, he will often flatter his opponent's skills.[12] Although he enjoys killing humans, especially weak children[13] and women full of vitality,[14] he has a cunning side that he often uses to his advantage. For example, during his fight against Megumi Fushiguro, he ripped out his vessel's heart to prevent it from successfully switching bodies.[15]

Sukuna considers himself above humans, mages, curses, and curse users. His attitude is akin to that of an arrogant tyrant king, and as such, he constantly treats others as his inferiors and orders them around as he feels entitled to do so. Sukuna possesses an intimidating aura and inspires fear in everyone. He does not hesitate to intimidate and threaten those around him into doing his bidding. In Shibuya, upon awakening and taking control of his vessel body, he threatened Jogo, Mimiko, and Nanako into kneeling before him. He also threatened all humans present, saying that if they moved without his permission, he would kill them all without hesitation.

Techniques
Cursed Technique:

The name of Sukuna's cursed technique is unknown. It is known that, through the molding of cursed energy, he is able to use his abilities to produce slashing attacks. He has also shown to be able to make use of fire and manipulate it at will. Undo (解, Kai?) (lit. Release): With the simple movement of his fingers, he can give rise to the manifestation of a common slashing attack. This slash is used to attack non-living beings.
Split (捌, Hachi?) (lit. Pre-Cut/Adhere): This is quite similar to his regular slash but this one adapts the cursed energy depending on the enemy. It tends to be used on living beings. Territorial Expansion: A technique in which cursed energy is used to build a territory with a technique that encompasses the surrounding area. Demonic Reliquary (伏魔御厨子, Fukuma Mizushi?): Results in the creation of a Buddhist temple decorated with skulls. It is different from other types of territorial expansions as it does not create a barrier that separates both spaces, but rather provides the enemy with an exit, but in exchange the territory space comes to have a radius of 200 meters, which Sukuna can handle as he pleases[9]. Binding Contract: Contract with Benefited Parties (, Binding Contract: Contract with Benefited Parties?): It is a contract created through the use of cursed energy made between Itadori and Sukuna. The contract follows the condition: ①. When Sukuna shouts 'Open Promise', Itadori must surrender his body for one minute. ②. Following that, Itadori must forget the conditions of the contract. ③. During the minute in which they switch bodies, Sukuna will not harm anyone.
