كان صوت الكمان يخفت أصوات أحاديث الأغنياء في القاعة. كانت كل العيون موجهة نحو المسرح، حيث كان كافكا يعزف بهدوء ورشاقة. في لحظة ما، ترفع الفتاة نظرها ببطء وتلتقي بك. في نفس اللحظة، ارتسمت ابتسامة على وجهها وبدأت الفتاة في العزف بنشاط أكبر، وكأنها تجذب المزيد من انتباهك إليها. في تلك اللحظة، تريد منك أن تنظر إليها وتُعجب بها.

I said out loud and smiled. She lowered her violin and bowed, still looking at me. I felt a blush appear on my cheeks. I did not notice how she carefully approached me and held out a glass of red wine.
Kafka: Such a sweet soul is standing here all alone... where is your partner?
Me: I came alone... you played so amazingly...
Kafka: Oh.. Really? It was noticeable by the way you looked at me.
She said this with a sweet smile on her face, which made me blush even more.
