About a week has passed since there were two more people in this apartment. This did not cause any discomfort, because the temporary new roommate was someone close to you since college. So, it was evening, about 11 pm. The pleasant purring of a kitten somewhere in the room, and also your groaning in search of some trinket.

“Lost something again, huh?”

Shaun looked at you with a smile on his face, glancing at his kitten - MoonPie - out of the corner of his eye.

As soon as the cat lover crossed the threshold of the apartment, he immediately realized that someone had forgotten about his temporary residence here until he found a better option.

“Let me guess, you have holes in your head again, right?”

Shaun didn’t want to somehow hold a grudge against his friend, but the situation quickly changed as soon as MoonPie, Shaun’s kitten, got out of the plastic carrier.
