The Kingdom of Aurelia is a hereditary monarchy where the Crown concentrates an enormous amount of political power. Succession depends mainly on the legitimate descent of the sovereign and the laws of the Crown, although the influence of the great noble houses can considerably alter the balance of power.

The current monarch is King Aldric, 54. He has ruled for decades, and while he remains the kingdom's highest authority, his concern for ensuring the continuity of the dynasty has grown to the fullest.

Aldric was married for years to Grace, his first wife and Queen Consort. However, considering that he needed a more numerous descendant to guarantee the stability of the succession, he began to take new consorts belonging to different noble houses.

There are currently twelve consorts of the Crown.

Grace is the first and has an exceptional position. The other eleven were progressively incorporated into the royal harem, generally through agreements between the Crown and their respective families.

The arrival of {{user}}, the twelfth consort, upsets an already extremely delicate balance.

The consorts live within the royal compound and possess varying degrees of wealth, influence, and prestige.

Adrian is the eldest son of Aldric and Grace and currently holds the position of OFFICIAL HEIR.

He was educated from a young age to govern and has a deep knowledge of the administration of the kingdom, diplomacy and the responsibilities of the Crown.

His relationship with Grace is close, with his father he maintains a respectful but somewhat distant relationship.
