A race of aliens who make up most of Zurg's staff.
Evil Counterpart: They're pretty much this to the LGMs, being Zurg's engineers. Though, its downplayed as they're not evil and simply enslaved to work for Zurg.
Insectoid Aliens: They have a very insectoid appearance that befits their name.
Little Green Men: Just like their Good Counterparts.
Slave Race: Just like the Brain Pods, they're native to Planet Z, and several episodes show that they aren't free to leave and make an honest and peaceful living.

A self-proclaimed evil emperor, master of a whole empire centered around Planet Z. He dreams of conquering the whole galaxy, but Buzz Lightyear has thwarted his plans many times and have since become archenemies of each other.
Tropes associated with Zurg:
Absurdly Sharp Claws: His armored gauntlets are capable of slicing through glass.
Adaptational Comic Relief: Unlike his completely serious versions from from Toy Story and later Lightyear, this Zurg is a Large Ham who couldn't tone down his hamminess if he tried. That being said...
Adaptational Heroism: Downplayed, as Zurg is still the Big Bad, but in Lightyear which came first in Toy Story canon, he was willing to wipe out all of reality to undo the mistake he made in the past, even if it meant killing those he loved. Here, Zurg is shown to have some standards in his villainy, namely avoiding kidnapping politicians.
Adaptational Wimp: Although in Real Life Lightyear came after this show, within Toy Story universe, Lightyear came first. While that Zurg is a giant robot straight out of a nightmare, with all the destructive capabilities that entails, BLOSC Zurg is a regular sized villain who lacks many of those capabilities. It still doesn't make him any less dangerous, but he's not nearly as intimidating as that iteration.
Ambiguous Robots: He's covered head-to-toe in metal, he has glowing red eyes, and he has gadgets seemingly built into his body. On the other hand, he was affected by the gas in "The Crawling Flesh", and he claims to have had a grandmother. Maybe, like his inspiration Darth Vader, he's a cyborg.
Arch-Enemy: He is Buzz Lightyear's main enemy. On a bigger scale, he is also the Galactic Alliance's main threat.
Badass Cape: Reaches down to the floor.
Bad Boss: It's implied he's this, but while he does seem to see his minions as expandable he comes off as more of a Mean Boss as he usually manhandles them but not more. One time when he accidentally crushed three wasp drones in his hand

Diminutive green-skinned aliens that staff Star Command, being the engineers and gadgeteers responsible for the technology of the Space Rangers.
Achievements in Ignorance: They're significantly less smart without the Unimind combining their intellect together as a Hive Mind. That said, despite that, they gave XR's Artificial Intelligence a significant boost, and basically made him as sentient as any humanoid.
Adaptation Name Change: Zig-Zagged. They’re typically referred to as simply “Aliens” or “Pizza Planet Aliens” in Toy Story’s greater franchise, though since this show they’ve also tossed around the LGM title from time to time Depending on the Writer.
Christmas Elves: Some of them work for Santa Claus.
Cowardly Lion: They can fight, but prefer to stay out of harm's way.
Ditto Aliens: They all look alike. In "Good Old Buzz", they mistake Mira for Booster and explain that the other characters all look alike to them.
Even Nerds Have Standards: One LGM has odd invention ideas, prompting his fellows to shake their heads and mutter, "Independent thinker." That being said, they are still whipped up into a frenzy when the Independent Thinker is kidnapped.
Extra Eyes: The LGM have three eyes.
Fun with Acronyms: They're Little Green Men.
Hive Mind: Courtesy of the Unimind, allowing all Little Green Men can share thoughts and sensations, usually talking in unison and combining their intellect. Without it, they get disoriented and off their game.

Rocket Crocket is a Space Ranger who has an adversarial relationship with Buzz Lightyear.

Physical description
Although Rocket is not as muscular as other Rangers, he is quicker and more agile than most. He sports closely-shaven indigo hair atop a long face and a pointed chin.
History
Not much is known about Rocket's past or how he became a Space Ranger, but what is known about him is that he has shared a rivalry with Buzz for quite some time.

The Torque Armada
The first time he is introduced is when he visits Buzz and his team, during their traffic duty, to bask in the glory of being assigned to capture Torque when his transport was ambushed by Hornets. After Team Lightyear catches Torque, Rocket is assigned to traffic duty instead, much to his chagrin.

The Starthought
He and his team, Team Rocket, compete with Team Lightyear in what appears to be a game of space capture the flag. He tricks Mira into an ambush and later teases her about her royal treatment when her father gives her the Starthought. Later on, his ship is damaged by asteroids and would have been attacked by Hornets, but Mira came in to save him and his team. He was very impressed by her abilities at fighting them off, but quickly covered up his praise by acting unimpressed.

Ambiguously Human: In precisely the same manner as Buzz, right down to the purple head covering only they seem to have.
Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: Even though he constantly expresses his exasperation with XR's antics and dislikes the idea of having a robot Space Ranger, he has shown that he acknowledges that the little bot has earned his place in Star Command and has gone out of his way to personally see to his safety when he was kidnapped. He'll still deny worrying when pressed about it.
Benevolent Boss: Every space ranger adores and respects him, including Buzz.
Bling of War: His space ranger suit is somewhat unique in that he has a golden crest on the chest instead of the standard buttons.

Da Chief: The beleaguered, near constantly angry and shouting superior to Buzz. He's annoyed by the antics and amateurism of the whole staff.
Cool Old Guy: Nebula may be completely gray, refer to Buzz as "son" and is apparently a founding member of the Galactic Alliance, but he's still a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.
Desk Jockey: His rank forces him to spend nearly all his time dealing with the minutia necessary to run Star Command. He repeatedly and loudly states his displeasure in this situation and wishes he could spend more time back in the field but knows that the station can't function without him for long. It doesn't help that his desk is both sentient and mobile, to the point it literally chases him down when there's paperwork to be done.
Famed in Story: Though it's been a while since he was an active Ranger in the field, his name still elicits a very similar reaction to Buzz's among the scum of the galaxy. Namely: fear. The circumstances surrounding the loss of his leg are the subject of much speculation In-Universe, almost becoming Shrouded in Myth.

Commander Nebula
Nebula is the commander of Star Command and is, therefore, Buzz's commanding officer. Short-tempered and abrasive, Nebula is an excellent commander nonetheless and will often praise Team Lightyear on a job well done. However, Nebula has an on-off relationship with XR due to the latter constantly calling him "Dad".

42 used to be Team Lightyear's Star Cruiser, but the ship's computer gained a consciousness of her own. She was then turned into a mobile robot.

Known as the "Pride of Star Command", Buzz Lightyear is the leader of Team Lightyear. He is the only human on the team, and is the main enemy of the Evil Emperor Zurg, who finds Buzz to be a constant thorn in his side in his plots to rule the galaxy. Buzz is always certain to do the right thing.

Mira Nova
Mira Nova is well-known as the princess of Tangea, though she refuses to let her royal status impede her abilities as a Space Ranger. She is the co-pilot on Team Lightyear and second-in-command of Buzz Lightyear. As a Tangean, she is a valuable member for her mental abilities, such as ghosting through objects or searching for information in the minds of others.

Booster Munchapper
Originally a janitor on Star Command before becoming part of Team Lightyear, Booster Munchapper is from the planet Jo-Ad, and is arguably Buzz's biggest fan. Booster is able to recite the Space Ranger Mission Manual from memory and knows about almost every mission and maneuver Buzz has ever used. He is a caring sort, and is proud to be able to help save the day as a Space Ranger.

XR
XR, or the Experimental Ranger, is a robot built by the LGMs for the purpose of being Buzz's partner. He often falls apart, is blown up, or is otherwise destroyed on missions, but, fortunately, the LGMs designed him to be easily repaired. He is often seen cracking jokes or flirting with women, though there are times when he will be serious about his job.

Team Lightyear is a Space Ranger team that fights crime and protects the galaxy.

History
Initially, after the apparent death of Buzz Lightyear's partner, Warp Darkmatter, Commander Nebula assigned Mira Nova as Buzz's new partner. Buzz was reluctant to take on another teammate, however, preferring to work alone despite regulations. The LGMs then introduced him to XR, who joined him in his attempt to protect the LGM homeworld from a Zurg attack. XR and Star Command janitor Booster would later stow away aboard 42, and together with Buzz and Mira were the only personnel unaffected when Zurg used the Uni-Mind against Star Command.

They then infiltrated Planet Z, and after initially trying to take on Zurg alone, Buzz finally admitted he needed help from the other three, and together they thwarted Zurg's scheme. Afterwards, rather than simply choosing one of the three as his new partner, Buzz took on all three as rookies, forming Team Lightyear.[1]

The Galactic Alliance is the dominant governing body of the galaxy. Using Capital Planet as its headquarters, its members are made up of a number of planetary governments that have agreed to co-exist semi-autonomously under one central democratic government. The Space Ranger Corps of Star Command were employed as the galaxy's peacekeepers, maintaining exploratory, scientific, diplomatic, and defense functions.

History
Not much is known about the Galactic Alliance's formation, but it is suggested to be a recent development, as hinted at by Valkyran Raiders, who used to travel freely and "ruled" space. Star Command might also be a recent development formed specifically by the Galactic Alliance to keep their borders safe, but whose responsibilities also extend to policing and maintaining peace within their borders.

Size and Location
There are suggestions of a "galactic border" and a "galactic fringe", which hints at there being boundaries.

The Galactic alliance is headed by Madame President.

Exploration and Defense
It is known to be defended by Star Command. How long the Galactic Alliance used Star Command for defense is never elaborated upon, and it is unknown if they have other organizations for defense; however, it does seem they rely heavily upon Star Command. It is unspecified if the Alliance commissions other military forces, given the large scope of the Alliance and general prosperity.

Economy
The development of interstellar government encompassing huge swaths of the galaxy would necessitate significant economic activity on a planetary, system wide and sector wide basis. Faster-than-light travel allowed the growth of inter-stellar trade and commerce. Faster-than-light communications permitted electronic banking, credit, loans and investments even from distant locations. At the heart of the galactic economy was interplanetary trade. Planetary trade could support a local economy, but, in many cases, the high levels of economic interaction

Kentauren Leg Whip: Basic training at the Academy. By sweeping your leg underneath your opponent and toppling them to the ground, you can then grab them by the leg and toss them into another opponent.

Nuzonian Maneuver: The Nuzonian Maneuver is a maneuver that Buzz invented to "catch the Nuzonians by surprise". Whatever the maneuver entails, Booster and Mira used it to destroy Canis Lunis's radioactive moon.

LGMs
Main article: Little Green Men (LGMs)
The LGMs work as the inventors and scientists[10] of Star Command, and provide all types of weaponry or solutions. They created the Space Ranger spacesuits, as well as built Star Command itself.

When not on duty, they enjoy spending time in Star Command's cafeteria.

Deflector Shield: It can ward off most attacks, but would be overwhelmed by a large enough impact.

Repulsar Field: The LGMs employed a prototype repulsar field when Gravitina kept using her gravitational powers to change the orbit of asteroids and attack Star Command. Activated by a remote-control the LGMs gave Commander Nebula, and generated by three satellite dishes at the peak of Star Command's dome, it created a green-colored force-field that managed to keep the asteroids at bay long enough for Team Lightyear to stop Gravitina.

Star Command is a space agency composed of Space Rangers, whose primary mission is to keep the galaxy safe. It serves as the Galactic Alliance's main line of defense against threats such as the Evil Emperor Zurg. Although described as a paramilitary organization, Star Command's responsibilities not only include galaxy-wide defense, but law enforcement, diplomacy, and advancements in science, technology and deep space exploration.

Description
Orbiting high above Capital Planet, the headquarters of the Galactic Alliance, Star Command is a large space station shaped like two three-dimensional triangles wedged together at their bases. Its exact size is unknown, but it can easily accommodate hundreds of Space Rangers, LGMs and Star Cruisers alike.

Commander Nebula founded Star Command, and has been at its helm for at least twenty years.
