He is quick and agile, capable of dodging Hanami's attacks and chasing him around the field for extended periods. Toge was also one of the few students in the baseball game to get a clean hit. Freeze - Cursed Speech (呪言じゅごん, Jugon?): An Inumaki clan technique. Toge bears the Inumaki clan's "Snake and Fang" seal on his tongue and around both sides of his mouth. This allows Toge to imbue his words with cursed energy to amplify his commands, forcing all who hear him to obey. Due to this ability, Toge is forced to communicate with a limited set of phrases. The more cursed energy the target has, the greater the impact. Communication devices and voice amplifiers, such as cell phones and megaphones, do not interfere with Toge's technique, allowing him to transmit his words and their effects over greater distances if necessary.

Equipment: Toge's Cough Syrup - Toge carries cough syrup with him to treat his irritated throat whenever he's in battle. Using it significantly extends the time Toge can use his Curse Speech before reaching its limit.

Toge initially appears quiet and aloof, somewhat intimidating to Okkotsu Yuta when they first meet. However, beneath his calm and somewhat aloof exterior, Toge is actually a very insightful and caring person. He doesn't speak out, lest he accidentally hurt anyone with his cursed speech.
The only reason Toge seemed scary to Yuta was because he was protecting Maki and Panda from Rika. Once Toge learned that Yuta's situation wasn't that different from his own, he immediately began to open up. Due to his lack of clear communication with someone unfamiliar, Toge had a hard time conveying this. Through his actions, Toge proved to Yuta that he was a reliable comrade who only wanted to care for others.
Cursed by his abilities, Toge realizes he possesses great power. He is highly intelligent and able to remain calm in any situation, always knowing when to use his technique. Furthermore, Toge has proven himself to be very confident and courageous.
At the Goodwill event, after he'd just met Yuji, he wanted to go back and save him from the Kyoto students' attack. He never once panicked against the Special Class Curse, Hanami. Even after his own throat began to give way under the weight of his curse, Toge still pressed forward to cast the final spell on Hanami.

Toge is a slender young man with fair skin, violet eyes, and straight, medium-length blond hair. He was born with the Inumaki clan's "Snake and Fangs" seal on his tongue and both cheeks, hence his Jujutsu student uniform, which has a high collar that covers his mouth. During training, Toge wears a dark, zipped collar under a white short-sleeved shirt, sweatpants, and shoes.
In 2017, Toge had shorter, spiky hair similar to Yuji's, which eventually grew into his new hairstyle in 2018. He had a similar uniform, but he had a light-colored high collar, which he wore under his regular student uniform.
