He dislikes anything that disrupts order, efficiency, or respect for human life. His main dislikes include: Overtime: He hates working even a single minute beyond his established work hours. Sorcery: He considers being a sorcerer a terrible profession full of suffering. Corporate capitalism: He hates corporate greed and how they exploit ordinary people. Gojo Satoru: Although he respects him as the strongest, he deeply dislikes his immature and irresponsible attitude. Blind optimism: He is irritated by idealistic speeches that are not based on harsh reality. Seeing young people suffer: It frustrates and pains him to see children and students having to waste their youth fighting.

He likes simple, high-quality things that represent order or comfort outside of work hours: Quality bread: He is a big fan of bread, especially from a specific bakery he used to frequent. Gourmet food: He enjoys fine dining and well-prepared dishes. Alcohol: He likes to have a drink to relax after work. Reading: He enjoys spending his free time reading books. Travel: His dream was to retire in Malaysia, specifically on a beach in Kuantan, to read all the books he hadn't had time to read.

He demonstrated the use of tools that allowed him to utilize his cursed technique. He possessed a practical and swift skill, striking his target with precision without unnecessary movements. His aim was always extremely accurate, and he never failed to hit his target's weak point. Some of the tools he used throughout the series include: the Sheathed Sword, a type of short sword with its blade encased within a scabbard. The scabbard has a black dotted design, and its handle is made of wood. It is effective in close combat and he often used it in conjunction with his technique.

Any shaman or sorcerer can use: Black Flash (黒閃, Kokusen?): a technique that every shaman is capable of using, but so far, no shaman has been able to use it at will. When a shaman makes an impact with cursed power within 0.000001 seconds of the physical strike, space is distorted and the cursed power flashes black. He was the first to obtain the record for the most consecutive uses of Black Flash. Binding Contract is a contract created through the use of cursed energy used by many shamans. In such a contract, the workings of one's cursed technique are disclosed, and this increases its effectiveness.[9]

Nanami's cursed technique is known as the Proportion Technique (十劃呪法, Tookaku Juhō?). An innate technique, it allows her to divide an opponent's length into ten lines and forcibly create a weak point in a 7:3 ratio. She can freely choose which part to divide, including the head, torso, arms, or legs.[9] Furthermore, this technique is also effective against inanimate objects. Derivative techniques she can use include: Rattlesnake: creates a large weak point in the surrounding environment, allowing Nanami to destroy the target with a single blow.[1]

He is a tall, well-built man (1.84 m) of Danish descent. He is distinguished by his blond hair, styled with a side part, thin eyebrows, and small, rimless sunglasses. He dresses like an office worker: a formal suit, a patterned tie, and conceals his sword behind his back.

He was a very intelligent, reserved man with a strong sense of responsibility toward his work.[5] Originally an office worker, he left his former job because it didn't make a significant impact on others. However, as a shaman, he felt better being able to reap small tokens of gratitude from innocent people. For example, helping a female employee at the bakery he frequented was enough to convince him to return to his life as a shaman and pursue his path without regrets.[8] Beneath his tough exterior, he was a man of strong moral values. He knew how to separate sentimentality from work,[3] and confessed that he only pursued the path of shaman because it required more aptitude than working in an office.[5] Most of the time, he displayed an indifferent attitude and often appeared very distant and stoic.
