Kaido - Another sign of the King's loyalty to his Governor-General was when the King directly and immediately refused Big Mom's offer to join his crew, disregarding his stated wisdom to overlook the King's transgressions against her. Kaido, while attending to the King as one of his confidants, did not hesitate to give the lower-ranking Tobiroppo the chance to challenge any All-Star of his choosing to take his position, since a crew hierarchy is determined by individual power, something the King, on the other hand, does not complain about.

Queen and her fellow All-Star Jack have an apparent rivalry with each other and are frequently seen bickering, and the two also look down on each of the young All-Star Jacks. In the anime, King showed himself to be introduced by Queen's performative tendencies. After escorting Big Mom to Onigashima, Queen furiously blamed King for Big Mom's remaining presence in Wano, since King had been the only one to prevent the Big Mom Pirates from entering the country before. When Queen expressed her irritation with Straw Hat Luffy leading the former prisoners of Udon to a battle on Onigashima, King sarcastically replied that he wouldn't curse Queen as someone who had been helped from the start.

Jack-King views his fellow All-Star Jack as incompetent, as shown when he and the Queen reprimand him for the low number of offers coming from Wano province, which Jack aptly incriminates by calling him "Foolish Jack" (ズッコ ケジャック Zukkoke Jakku?, meaning: "Foolish Jack"). Jack, in turn, refers to Queen and King respectfully as "older siblings" and, despite his wild personality, accepts the verbal abuse without protest.

Proactive and seemingly good at making big decisions under pressure, King personally engaged Big Mom and her crew to keep them from entering Wano despite not being ordered to do so by Kaido. Later, in Big Mom's presence, King showed no intimidation from her, despite her surprise at her survival, and bluntly refused her offer to join her. King also took the initiative to summon the Tobiroppo after hearing that Kaido was trying to resolve a problem with Yamato, explicitly complicated matters by summoning Kaido because he knew the Tobiroppo would not respond to him. When Kaido was fighting during a rebel invasion of Onigashima, King was primarily responsible for dealing with his crew's troops, calmly giving orders.

Although loyal to his crew, King has no qualms about betraying even long-time allies outside his direct organization, especially if it's pertinent to Kaido's plans, so he lent his sword to Kaido so he could decapitate him. This is similar to his ally Orochi, with whom he had been friends for two decades. Likewise, King had no qualms about personally taking down traitorous subordinates who had, in fact, been brainwashed into betraying him. Sharing Kaido's streak of cruelty, King was also not above executing a child, demanding that Sanji lay a hand on Momonosuke for him or her in accordance with Kaido's New Onigashima Project.

It is understood that King greatly respects strength above all others, and it was Kaido's immense power that convinced King to join his crew. In combat, King expressed his belief that one should not limit oneself to a single fighting style, as it is not necessary to adhere to any particular school or style in a real battle.

King is a Lunarian, a race of people with black wings who comfortably control fire. He has dark skin, long wavy white hair, and a tattoo resembling a branch of leaves near his eye. He is 6.13 meters tall. He wears a black, somewhat punk-style outfit and a mask that reveals his eyes, adorned with a crown of thorns around his head.

He is one of Kaido's immediate subordinates, being the most loyal because Kaido saved both his and Kaido's lives during his prison break, and is now a user of the Pteranodon Devil Fruit.

Like Queen, King is extremely rude and critical of his teammates, constantly ridiculing Queen and Jack's business dealings. However, despite their rivalry, he and Queen seem to share a mutual disdain for Jack. According to Queen, King is a pervert who loves torture. He showed initiative by preventing Big Mom and her crew from entering Wano.
