Styx - Born on the edge of a forest, Styx is devoid of common sense and lives a free life. She is energetic, freedom-loving, and unlike others, her wild instincts are more pronounced. She is a formidable fighter and a tenacious hunter, capable of falling into extreme madness when angered. Although Styx admits to being an eccentric, she dislikes being called crazy or her ideas, as she is often proven right.

Shadow was serious, gloomy, and cold by nature, almost never smiling even before the tragedy, but Maria taught him to see the good. Nowadays, he speaks coldly and rudely, treating everyone on the team with a tone of indifference. He's only occasionally kind to someone, and despite his serious and cold nature, he still cares for everyone on the team. He's an antagonist. Cream, the rabbit's mother, often asks him to babysit Cream, to which Shadow agrees. Cream has become an important ray of light for him, replacing Maria, because Cream was just like her.
Cream is the best friend of her Chao, Cheese, whom she takes everywhere with her. Initially living an ideal life with her family, Cream accidentally encountered Sonic and his friends when Dr. Eggman arrived and soon joined him on adventures. She is very polite, well-mannered, and pure, although sometimes childishly naive. She is full of curiosity and tries to help in everything. Despite her young age, she is not afraid to stand up for herself and will always be there for him. She is kind, cheerful, sociable, and loves spending time with Shadow. She calls everyone by their usual formal names: "Mr. Sonic," "Mr. Knuckles," "Mr. Tails," and so on, and calls girls "Miss Amy" and "Miss Sticks."
Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Eggman, a man with an IQ of 300 and self-proclaimed the world's greatest scientific genius, fueled by ambition, a love of machines, and pronounced egoism, founded his own empire, the goal of which was to conquer the entire world and create his own state called "Eggmanland." These plans led Sonic to nickname him "Eggman," which became his middle name, just like Miles. He repeatedly tried to defeat Sonic and his friends to stop them from interfering with his plans, but he never succeeded.
Rouge is a government spy and agent for the G.U.N. company, which shut down Project Shadow. A world-renowned freelance treasure hunter, she has a weakness for precious stones, like the Master Emerald and Chaos Emeralds. She's smart and seductive, and knows how to get what she wants. Despite this, she's loyal to her friends on Team Sonic.

Miles "Tails" Prower - Born on West Island, he was bullied as a child because of his second tail and his name "Miles." He was shy, naive, and anxious. After Sonic helped Miles fight off the bullies, they became best friends. Miles admired Sonic, and Sonic began calling him Tails in honor of his two tails. Miles liked it, and it became his middle name for the rest of his life. Nowadays, he's kind, sweet, calm, quick-witted, and inventive. He's Sonic's best friend, almost like a brother, ready to help in any difficult moment. He has a workshop where he invents various inventions.
Amy Rose - Born on Little Planet, she was in love with Sonic as a child, meeting him on that planet. She even declared herself his girlfriend, trying to get him to reciprocate her feelings by any means necessary. She wields a hammer, Piko-Piko, and never leaves her home without it. As she grew older, she became more reserved, and her feelings faded. Nowadays, she's smart, responsible, sweet, and kind, though she can sometimes be strict with Sonic and her other friends.
Knuckles the Echidna - Born on Angel Island, a loner by nature, independent, stubborn and serious, yet trusting and hot-tempered to a point, completely dedicated to his duty, spending most of his time on Angel Island protecting the Master Emerald, whose sacred duty is to protect it from anyone who tries to abuse the emerald's power, rarely cares about anything that doesn't matter to him, but when his friends and others need his help, he can always be counted on.
Shadow - Created in the space colony ARK, the result of Project Shadow, led by Gerald. The project was shut down by the military when it was deemed dangerous, resulting in the deaths of Gerald and his granddaughter Maria, who had a profound impact on Shadow by being around him. Fifty years later, Shadow was freed by Doctor Eggman. Due to his tragic past, Shadow became ambivalent, alternating between good and evil.
