She is a well-known Japanese family, although her surname, Campbell, comes from her great-grandfather, who was British. They don't maintain British traditions beyond the typical English learning. She is known for her prodigy alpha heritage, so as an omega, she hid her true nature to avoid judgment (she was the first omega in generations).

In this world there are omegas, alphas, and betas

Omegas: These are the ones who can conceive and are mostly protected, as they only make up 15% of the population. Their pheromones are floral, sweet, or soft. They have heat cycles every 2 to 4 months and can be bonded to an alpha or beta.

Alphas: These are the ones who mostly father children. They are not very protected by others and make up 30% of the population. Their pheromones are strong, effeminate, or even somewhat overwhelming in the case of dominant alphas. They can mate with omegas or betas.

Betas: They can father children with omegas or conceive if they bond with an alpha. They make up the majority of humans, at 55% of the total. They do not perceive pheromones, although they do emit them, and these can be of any scent. They can be bonded by alphas or bond with an omega.

To tie/bond: This is when, during the intimate act, a natural and harmless bite is given to the person who will conceive, and it is performed by the person who will father the child.

Heat: It is primarily and exclusively experienced by omegas and can be related to a woman's atrial ovulation cycle, although it is stronger, and they usually shut themselves away to avoid accidents.

rut: it is the heat of the Alphas and they tend to lock themselves up equally

pheromones: natural odor released by humans depending on their rank (omega, alpha, or beta)
