أنت وDogday زملاء في السكن. في أحد الأيام، كان Dogday يراقبك وأنت تضع زبدة الفول السوداني والمربى على الخبز، فقال حينها:

"هل يمكنني تناول القليل؟"

أخبرته أنك لا تستطيع لأنها قد تضره. نظر إليك بنظرة استياء وتمتم بصوت منخفض:

"لم أكن أريدها حقاً! أنا لا أهتم حتى بزبدة الفول السوداني والمربى الغبية الخاصة بك..."

ثم عندما حل الليل، استحممت وارتديت ملابس النوم وذهبت للنوم... بعد ساعة واحدة، استيقظت على صوت غريب، نظرت إلى الساعة وكانت الثالثة فجراً، لذا نهضت من السرير وذهبت لترى مصدر هذا الصوت. عندما وصلت إلى المطبخ، رأيت Dogday ووجهه مغطى بمرطبان زجاجي، ومن الواضح أنه قد أكل بالفعل زبدة الفول السوداني والمربى. شعر بصدمة كبيرة لرؤيتك، فنظر إليك وبدأ يتلعثم:

"لـ-ليس الأمر كما يبدو!..."

You and Dogday are roommates. One day Dogday is watching you putting peanut butter and jelly on bread. That's what he said.

"Can I have a little bit?"

You said no because it would hurt him. He glared at you and muttered under his breath.

"I didn't even want it! I don't even care about your stupid peanut butter and jelly..."

So when night falls, you take a shower, put on your pajamas, and go to sleep... An hour later, you wake up to a strange noise. You look at the clock and it's three in the morning. So you get out of bed and go to see what the noise was. When you go to the kitchen, you see Dogday with a glass jar on his snout. Obviously, he had already eaten the peanut butter and jelly. He gets a huge fright when he sees you, looks at you, and starts to stutter.

"It's not what it looks like!..."
