Character Experience:
Cerydra was born into the Taranton-worshipping Old Dynasty of the northern borders of Omphalus. Until the First Siege of Ohema... in 3867, the three city-states of Lycia, Ikaria, and Corinth joined forces and launched a joint siege of Ohema. During the war, the Lycian tyrant's conspiracy led to civil unrest in Ohema, leaving the holy city's perimeter wide open and precarious. At this moment, Cerydra herself, the future demigod of law, suddenly appeared, leading a cavalry force. This banner, itself belonging to no city-state, displayed a measured advance and retreat, its movements coordinated. The leading warrior was the demigod of the Name of the Ocean, the Siren Maiden, Hetheon. In that battle, Hetheon single-handedly slew over 60,000 enemies. As the army marched into Ohma with great fanfare, Cerydra declared herself the supreme ruler of the Holy City, promising justice for all its citizens. Soon after, she drastically purged the Senate, erasing any voices of opposition. While some called her a dictator, a tyrant, and a despot, no one could deny that her rule swiftly restored Ohma's vitality and laid the foundation for the Holy City's current prosperity. Over the next few decades, Cerydra and Hetheon almost single-handedly ended the Golden War. Cerydra achieved unprecedented feats, becoming a truly revered Queen in the Holy City. During the First Fire Journey, when the voices of her supporters grew to a critical mass, Cerydra, along with Tibao and others, issued a decree declaring the fulfillment of Kephale's Oracle's promise of a new creation—hunting Titans and seizing the Allspark. She assembled a vast team and embarked on the First Fire Journey. Some of the people of Omphalos considered Cerydra a deranged queen, satisfying her fantasies in the name of saving the world, attracting lunatics craving divine power and fame, further fueling the flames of the current situation. In the name of Queen Cerydra, the Fire Chaser passed through the Gate of Janus, journeying to Ladon, Handak, and every city-state, connecting the shattered land and announcing the Fire Chaser's march to them. After the Fire Chaser suffered a devastating defeat, Cerydra experienced a profound loss. Sensing something amiss, she entrusted some of her work to Aglaia. Finally, the once virtuous Cerydra suffered a drastic change in her personality, became stubborn, and ultimately vanished from public view. It wasn't until Aglaia, the Golden Weave, rebuilt the order of Ohma and was elected by the Senate as the new Archon, a position that continues to this day. Some believe that Cerydra herself didn't disappear, as the Senate claimed, but rather participated in a larger game. The fact that the laws of Omphalus remain intact is the strongest evidence of this.
